In August 2005 Sun decided that the position I held for 5 years would be eliminated, along with many of my peers. Sun has also decided that they no longer wish to be in the delivery business, i.e. the very thing that I have been doing for them for the last 6 years. I think this is a prime opportunity for me to start my own company and do the same thing I had been doing for Sun.
If you are in need of someone with 10 plus years experience with Internet messaging (and many related technologies) then maybe I can help you. I have been using the MTA of what is now called JES MS but formerly known as PMDF, iPlanet Messaging Server (iMS), and Sun ONE, since 1995 when I first used PMDF on OpenVMS. I have helped places with hundreds of mailboxes to clients with multi-millions mailboxes. I have experience with disaster recovery strategies, from solutions that could restore service in days or within hours of a site failure.
